Our Security Philosophy
At EDGED, we understand that delivery networks run on highly sensitive telemetry and proprietary logistics data. Our entire infrastructure is engineered with a zero-trust architecture, ensuring that your data remains strictly isolated, encrypted, and highly available.
1. Transport & Data Encryption
All data transmitted between your enterprise systems and EDGED is secured in transit using TLS 1.3 encryption protocols. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 standard encryption across all geographic storage clusters. We manage our encryption keys through dedicated Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
2. Access Control & Identity Management
Internal access to production systems is strictly regulated. We employ:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Embodying the Principle of Least Privilege.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Mandatory for all internal access attempts to our systems.
- Audit Logging: Granular, immutable logs tracking all internal data access events.
3. Infrastructure Security
Our platform is hosted on top-tier cloud providers compliant with strict international standards (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001). Our architecture utilizes virtual private clouds (VPCs), highly restrictive security groups, and continuously monitored network egress/ingress points.
4. Vulnerability Management
We conduct continuous automated vulnerability scanning across our entire software supply chain. Third-party dependency checks run on every deployment pipeline. Furthermore, we mandate annual penetration testing by independent security research firms.
5. Incident Response
In the event of a suspected security anomaly, our Automated Response Protocols trigger instant containment measures. Our dedicated Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) is on standby 24/7/365 to triage, investigate, and communicate any potential platform breaches to affected stakeholders within strict SLA guarantees.
